The official languages of Canada are English and French. Almost a quarter of Canadians, including myself, are multilingual in both languages. However, there is no requirement for French competence to be accepted in Canadian colleges & Universities. The city of Toronto is largely English-speaking. Non-official languages like as Italian and Punjabi are more widely spoken than French in this country. Unless you plan on visiting our neighboring province of Quebec, you won’t need to know French. 

Obtaining your PR is a difficult task.

The OGS program attracts many international students. Full-time graduate students can do this. It is awarded to 5 candidates per year. The scholarship amount of CAD 15000 can be used for tuition fees. 

National Research Council of Canada (NRCC) 

Research internships are offered to students holding a master’s degree in engineering as well as to students holding a PhD. degree in engineering or natural sciences. 

It offers many scholarships for students pursuing undergraduate and postdoctoral students. It also provides scholarships to students pursuing research and training grants. 

University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship 

This scholarship is offered to international master and doctoral students. Students of all streams can request it. To get a scholarship, one must have high intellectual ability and academic excellence. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible for this scholarship. When the selected candidate is notified by official letter. UMGF supports one student for five years. This is for sixty months. Typically, applications begin in January.
